Entry Requirements

NCEA Level 3, including:

  • Minimum of 14 credits at Level 3 or higher in the three approved subjects (from NZQA list)
  • Literacy - 10 credits at Level 2 or above, made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing (from NZQA list)
  • Numeracy - 10 credits at Level 1 or above (from NZQA list)
  • Equivalent personal, practical professional or educational experience of an appropriate kind
  • Students who have successfully passed the Certificate in Interactive Computing (Level 4) with "A" Pass, Diploma in Computer Servicing (Level 5) with "B" or equivalent academic qualifications are eligible for direct entry to Level 5.

English Language Requirement:

  • A minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5 or equivalent
  • A minimum TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) score of 60 (with a writing score of 20)

*Part-time study must be completed within five years unless a longer period is approved by the Head of School.
